About Us

An Umbrella Organization

BCOCCA is an umbrella organization designed to speak and act on behalf of its (9) member Caribbean Cultural Associations here in BC as one voice and find solutions to matters of mutual concern.

BCOCCA engages with the community through monthly meetings and other events such as Caribbean Days Festivals, Community Seasonal Events, Independence Anniversary Celebrations, Relief and Assistance Efforts etc.

BCOCCA also has an Associate member, the Canadian Jamaican Medical Assistance Society (CJMAS) and a Health Support Group referred to as the Caribbean Community Health Support Group (CCHSG) Committee under its auspices.

Monthly meetings are held to share experiences, promote the interest and welfare of members, plan strategies, communicate and promote closer community relationships.
